Camping is available on-site or at local campgrounds around the area. RV and camper parking will be available at the 2026 Farm Progress Show. All spaces are first-come, first-served—no reservations available. There is no fee for on-site camping. No facilities or amenities are available for on-site camping. If electrical, water, or sewage hookups are needed, visitors should utilize one of the nearby full-service campgrounds in the area. Visitors must adhere to the “Campground Rules” which will be provided upon entry to the show grounds. Please note that quiet hours are between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., and no campfires are permitted. and no campfires are permitted. The best airport to fly into for Boone, Iowa, is Des Moines International Airport (DSM), located about 38 miles south. Fort Dodge Regional Airport (FOD) is another option, located about 37.5 miles away.

Boone’s show site is also served by two municipal airports offering full-service support for flyers, Ames Municipal Airport and Boone Municipal Airport. The Ames Municipal Airport is run by Central Iowa Air Service, for more details, call 515-292-9056 or email info@centraliowaair.com. The Boone Municipal Airport, is managed and operated by Farnham Aviation Services and is 2.5 miles west of the show site. 

Discover Ames is providing shuttle service for show attendees flying in and out of the Ames Municipal Airport. Shuttle service is not a continuous loop, and visitors must preregister or call for service the day of their landing. The shuttle is available from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. all three days of the show. To pre-register for shuttle service, email your name, cellphone number, number of people in party, and date and time you need a ride to Katie Kramer at katiek@discoverames.com or call 515-817-6312 by August 21.

The Boone Municipal Airport, offers shuttle service to and from the site daily between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. No reservations are necessary.
